In 2020, SLADY, the world’s only all-female Slade tribute act, lost their manager, Dave Kemp, to COVID. Once they could, they recorded “Merry Christmas Everybody” for charity as a tribute to their friend.
Like the song, the video is in the spirit of the original, when the 70s were in full swing. SLADY, known for tearing the roof off every venue, will be combining PR and touring the UK while marketing the release to their loyal 10k+ social media following the UK to promote the single in December.
