In the words of Chris Bridgett:
“The Deep End” will always be a special song to me I started writing it one morning in lockdown 2020 and finished it in February 2023, when the song’s chorus fell from the heavens and gave the song its title. I’ll leave listeners to decide what the song is about for themselves because that’s what I’m doing. I know it’s dark and it’s deep and it’s the first glimpse of the songs I’ve spent the last two years writing that will make up my debut album which I hope will see the light of day next year.
