Y!kes have only been on the circuit since the beginning of the new year and are already making huge waves in the indie rock sea, with coming from Kerrang! They have released third single “Visceral” with a vibrant (and when I mean vibrant, the credits screen on Grange Hill back in the day vibrant!) lyric video.
Their marriage of gritty lyrics and hard hitting drums come together enveloped in waves of synth pop, making this an out and out dance your ass off kinda track. One that’s screaming to be played live, the crunching, lurking guitars retain the song’s overall grungy feel and individual sound all of Y!kes’ own.
