Northamptonshire’s metalcore newcomers Aside From That are back with their visceral new single “Hollow Shell”. Drawing influences from Polaris, Architects, and Periphery, “Hollow Shell” encomes the full spectrum of sonic assault with savage riffs, brutal breakdowns and magnetic vocals.
Walker speaks on the new single:
I try to write something that’s catching to ear while also keeping some new and old aspects of the single. Most of the lyrics come from personal experience in my life so you can expect relatable subjects within every lyric. Recording process was very straight forward as I worked with Brandon at Impactful Sounds Studios for all instrumentals and vocals with Neil at Initiate Sounds.
Following a successful release for their debut single “The Heart of Dreams” which saw Aside From That make their mark in the heavy music realm. Created as a way to express personal experiences and connect with others to help them realize that they are not alone, Aside From That return with a single that packs a punch with a vital message behind it!
