With other plans on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tokyo, Japan-based faction Kruelty have used their time wisely whilst in quarantine and created a new EP, Immortal Nightmare. It’s been mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio (Nails, Xibalba, Palm), mastered by Nick Townsend at Townsend Mastering (Deadbeat, Firebird), and completed with artwork by guitarist MCD.
The EP features three tracks including newly recorded versions of their songs “Desire” and “Narcolepsy”, originally from 2019’s split with Moment of Truth. Both have been re-recorded with a live drummer.

Also included on the EP is a cover of death metal legends Grave’s classic, “Into The Grave” which is done so well that it made me go and revisit what is considered one of the big four in Swedish death metal’s discography.
This unexpected short, savage surprise is very welcome indeed.
Immortal Nightmare will be released on July 17th via Creator-Destructor Records
